Public information can identify a peer
A WireGuard public key can be supplied to the operator so an authorized peer can be configured. Device names and platform choices help the operator understand the request.
A private profile deserves a careful channel
A configuration can contain a private key and other sensitive settings. Do not paste it into public discussions or the website’s support form. The BiTTU request schemas do not ask for private keys.
Plan for replacement
If a private key or device is exposed, the real gateway peer needs an appropriate revoke-and-replace process. Changing a label in a website workflow is not equivalent to changing a running server configuration.
