Check the exact release
Each platform page and the release-status page describe what is available. A download button for an Android repair candidate is not a production release for every platform. The website itself cannot establish a system-wide VPN tunnel.
Android repair candidate
The repair APK is a separate test application with package identifier com.bittu.vpn.repair. Source/framework startup checks passed on Android API 28 and 35, and package signature and alignment checks passed. Installation, native-library behavior and an end-to-end connection still require physical-device validation.
Mac, Windows and iOS
The intended Mac release is a DMG. No signed, notarized and verified BiTTU DMG is available. Windows source compilation is separate from a signed installer and runtime validation. The iOS client and its tunnel extension require Apple build, signing and device testing. Do not treat source code or a release kit as an approved installer.
Your configuration
A native VPN client requires system permission and an authorized, reachable gateway with a valid configuration. Keep private keys on the appropriate device and protect exported profiles. The account’s public-key request form records a provisioning request; it does not install a peer on your gateway.
Updates and compatibility
This website does not provide a verified automatic native-app update channel. Review release notes and your platform requirements before replacing software. Device behavior, DNS, IPv6 handling, route changes, reconnects and failure behavior must be checked on the actual platform and gateway.
Licenses and third-party software
A public download link does not place all its contents in the public domain. Review the license notices in the downloaded project and the licenses of included dependencies. Official WireGuard clients are distributed by their own maintainers; their availability does not imply BiTTU endorsement by those maintainers.
Before a production release
Final distribution terms, supported versions, signing identity, update procedures, support commitments and verified connection behavior must be completed for each platform. No universal kill switch, audited no-logs behavior or guaranteed throughput is asserted for these test materials.
