Why the earlier app was blocked
The earlier preview lacked Developer ID signing and Apple notarization. A DMG container alone cannot supply those checks. The native replacement must be built and tested with the real Apple signing setup.
The release pipeline
The source includes a native Cocoa UI and a build process that signs the app, verifies launch, obtains notarization, builds a drag-to-Applications DMG, signs/notarizes/staples that image and runs Gatekeeper assessment.
What is still needed
A real Mac build environment, the owner’s Developer ID identity and notarization credentials, followed by live VPN and device testing. No production Mac installer is offered before those checks pass.
