Get ready before departure
Install a supported client and test a valid profile while you still have time to troubleshoot. Keep your gateway reachable and arrange a trusted recovery path. The country directory is a planning reference; it does not provide local BiTTU exit servers.
Handle the network you find
Hotel and airport networks may require a captive portal or restrict UDP. Complete any legitimate network sign-in first. A failed handshake can come from network restrictions, a stopped server, an incorrect endpoint or mismatched keys.
Keep expectations realistic
A VPN does not guarantee access to a particular site, service or country. Follow the rules that apply to your location and network, keep device software updated, and use strong account authentication alongside the tunnel.
